COVID-19: Changes to cancellation fees

If you develop any cold or flu-like symptoms (e.g., runny nose, sore throat, new cough, breathing problems, fever, fatigue, muscle aches) please cancel and reschedule your appointment; there will be no fees during this time for late cancellations due to illness.

Cancellations & changes

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to change or cancel your appointment. This enables us to offer your appointment time to another patient. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Acupuncture

Herbs are not included in the treatment price and vary in price depending on the nature of the illness and the type of herbs required.

The number of treatments required will vary depending on how longstanding a condition is and what an individual is doing in their daily life to help or hinder the healing process. Generally, if acupuncture is going to prove helpful with a condition, a positive improvement will be noticed within the first few visits.

GST

  • Acupuncture treatments are not subject to GST.

  • Herbs are subject to GST.

  • Registered Massage Therapy treatment prices include GST .

Extended medical

Most Acupuncture and Registered Massage Therapy is covered by most extended medical plans, and the treatments are often recognized by ICBC, WorkSafe BC, and Veteran Affairs.

Medical Services Plan (MSP)

BC residents who receive MSP Premium Assistance may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of their treatment fee. If your family earns less than $30,000 per year, you may be eligible to receive $23 per treatment for up to 10 treatments per year.
